Fax to email is the process where a fax is sent to our fax server, from a normal fax machine, and is then mailed to the intended recipient. This process ensures that you can receive faxes as normal emails with TIFF/PDF attachments. You therefore do not need any additional hardware, software or fixed lines to receive the faxes. This enables you to receive your faxes wherever you receive your emails. Any device that can receive emails and pictures will be able to receive the faxes.
The fax numbers, as well as all the faxes received are free of charge and there are no connection fees, setup fees, monthly fees or contract fees. The facility is also available whereby you can send faxes directly from your PC to any fax machine in the world. This, however, is not free of charge and faxes are billed at the current rate as set out by Telkom for these numbers. You only pays for the faxes you sent and is charged for the first minute and then for each 30 second period thereafter. If you do not send any faxes you don’t pay anything. You only pay for the faxes you sent.

Fax2Email server which converts the document to digital email format and forwards the email to your email address li nked to your 086 number.
